Depeche Mode at the Garden care of Fm World Charities |
FM Charities Hooked up cool seats for us to check out Depeche Mode during the recording of the new CD! Maeve was not willing to be photographed for this event due to her hatred of Paparazzi but Omar was happy to go along as he is a Depeche Mode fan too! We met Christian the killing drummer and Pete who played some mean piano parts on In Your Room which I handily lifted for our August recording! I saw Hellz Bellz my friend from the PG tour!

Fueled by press coverage from Mike Shanley(Pittsburgh Citipaper),Bob Karlovitz(Pittsburgh Tribune),and a sweet review from Nate Guidry(Pitts Post-Gazette) we had sold out shows! We can only thank Dave from Gullifity's for rebuilding a hot new scene in Pittsburgh which is known for being a gateway to the midwest! Special thanks to all of you at WDUQ for playing the CDs and Deb Grant from the DOGE Special Forces Ground team! |

Dept of Good and Evil takes Philly Art Museum |
|
The trio played 2 hot sets for an sold out museum crowd-a wide range of audience members from 17 to 75. The crown enjoyed a set which featured the music from the CD plus the standard Green Dolphin st! The crowd bought an oil tanker full of CDs and website access and I thank you all immensely! What a night! It was a priviledge to play the Art Museum amongst the Matisse and the Picasso. How inspiring! Thank you Philly-see u at Ortlieb's June 16th. The sweetest lady thanked Bobbie Rae for saving jazz by keeping the swing in new standards! |

DOGE OVERTAKES JAZZ STANDARD with new sounds |
It's always fun to come home and this was a great gig! Having the full D.O.G.E. lineup was awesome! I felt so inspired to hear Tony filling out the grooves on Ain't No Sunshine,King Of Pain, and Saint of New Orleans. Comfortably Numb had some insane moments of transient joy! I have a bootleg I will try to let u all members hear soon! Thanks to WBGO for making this a sold out even and to Pat Cole,Jerry Kovarsky and Jack Hotop at Korg, and Josh Sherman and Jim Feitchman at Savoy for coming out! |
